most profitable farm for a rit
hey, I am kind of new to the farming scene and would like to see if I can get into it a bit, so what in your opinions would be the most efficient moneymaking farm for a ritualist (I can farm on other classes I just would prefer to use my rit, the only one I currently cannot use is monk because my monk is still a baby :P )
Thanks

I don't understand what you mean by "way overfarmed." Ectos are still worth a lot so why does it matter that other people are also farming them?

The more a certain place is farmed the less drops that place will give out.

I find UW too slow. Could go Splinter Barrage or SoS in a FoWSC team. If you're lucky it's VERY profitable!

Then he can buy FoW armor for his Rit because that's the only armor worth buying on those things

Also, try joining a DoASC you make about... 50-70k a run depending on the drops.

Fowsc isn't that profitable unless you get lucky on the chest.
Farming ectos in UW will get you more consistent gains.
You can also use a 600/smite type build (with VWK) to farm areas without too much enchantment removal.
Mats can also be profitable (selling them or using them for scs), but UW is probably your best bet.
DoAsc is a no go unless you have a guild willing to let you sub in for a spiker.

This. As long as people keep using the Essences. There will always be a market for feathers. Two trips through Jaya Bluffs for a stack isn't bad. Sure you can go through UW, but as it has always been, it's either feast or famine. So for me, as long as a stack of feathers is near in value to ecto. I'd rather make the quick cash in Bluffs, rather than trudging through UW. Materials farming isn't as high profile as SC'ing, but one can make a decent living off it without much time investment.

For folks that don't have the skill to go through UW though, it's better than nothing. 5 to 7k per stack isn't too bad a way for a beginner to build a bank account while learning higher end content and or power trading. Again, this is as long as consets are needed.
One other consideration for a Rit farmer is to hook up with some trappers in Zaishen Elite and spirit spam once their traps are blown up. Z keys seem to hold their prices well too.

330 with VwK in naphui is good for feathers/celestials. Take ebon sniper for any lights you encounter(you seem to encounter fewer lights in NM then HM, but HM drops better stuff).

the things i farm on with my rit is:
The Underworld, i spend 20-40 mins in there and atleast get my money back but the last few runs i have at least came out with 1 ecto.
i know it dosent seem a lot but i do have runs where i spend 20 mins in there and have gotten 3 ectos in that time, mearchant prices are at 5.5k at the mo so profit.
mat's are good, use the SoS rit build at Talmark Wilderness to get dust and pland fibers, make them into inks then your away.
i use this build at Jaya Bluffs to farm feathers, quite fast for getting them.
OAWiMwhMtEYxQ8INlEoKGTCAAA
again back to SoS, feathers at the north kryta province.
the 330hp build is good for some things, there is a guide on here.
and BACK to SoS it is quite easy to VQ places like Scoundrel's Rise and the Plains of Jarin.
Happy Farming

ok the question was what the most profitable then i have the answer DoA. why u might ask well theres a new build out and its all the RAGE for those newcomers too doa or those who are not in DoAsc guilds.
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_DoA_Platoon
now lets talk numbers
1.) u need at most 4 sets of cons, the build requires 2 human players so thats 20k each for cons.
2.) drops are (if u start from city) 1 margo(3ke) 2 stygian(5ke) 3 tormented(2.5ke) 4 titan(7ke)
3.) most likley u will get primeval armor remanants and for the sake of fast trading lets sell them at 5k each( i ussually get 1 a full run)
4.) from foe drops chest drops and quest rewards u will make at least 10k more
so from the my personal numbers i spend 2 hrs in uw farmin plains and get about 5-6 ectos (i personally think uw is only worth the end chest in HM other than that its a waste of time) when i could easily farm doa and make 60-70k a run and once u get better (which u will the build is super easy) u will cut down ur time to 1.5hrs and save money on cons and to be honest cons are not required so 3 sets is what i use nowadays. cons are just needed for foundry and the veil if u want to take the easy fast road and pull like a madman.

UW hands down.. its also less mind-numbingly boring as one can do chamber (duh), labyrinth, vale, wastes, planes, bone pits and if you havent had enough, spawning pools and twin serpent..
Pretty much all of it. I tend to stay for around 1.5-2 hours if I'm in the mood, pretty relaxed.. and 10-12 ectos for such a run isnt that big of an exception.
As everything, it does get boring after a while tho...
